City Connect in brief

What

City Connect is a unique platform connecting inland city governments, multinationals and logistics providers under one roof for a two-day event to focus on improving supply chains out of individual strategic transport hubs.

Why

The coastal provinces of China are increasingly becoming too expensive for manufacturing products for export. However, the potential of inland cities in emerging economies such as China remains untapped largely due to the price differential in transportation. City Connect serves as a facilitating event to showcase a number of strategic inland cities’ potential and bring together the right calibre and mix of executives and state officials to ease exports. Currently logistics events are either country or sector specific. City Connect is focused on municipal expertise.

Who

The directors of City Connect have 30 years combined experience of Asia Pacific logistics events, research and reporting behind them and a track record of putting together very creative, high profile and insightful logistics-related events across the region.
